Step 1

Typically clients have a wall and a basic idea as to what they want. In this case a large family wanted a beachscape that showed all the children doing the beach activities they loved as well as depicting the parents.

Step 2

First we decide what size works best and I take notes on palette and other preferences. They send me source photos. Over the next period I will send multiple video updates or ‘fly-bys’ and react to clients responses. It’s a collaborative process

Step 3

This painting had to include a beach bar they liked and examples of kids doing scuba, wave runners, reading and playing guitar and even a marriage proposal. To see more examples please watch the slide show or click below
